Alexey Leonov (* May 30, 1934 in Listvyanka; † October 11, 2019 in Burdenko Hospital) was a soviet pilot and cosmonaut, first human to conduct a spacewalk. He was 85 years old. He was married to Svetlana Pavlovna Dozenko. His education included Zhukovsky Air Force Engineering Academy and Kremenchuk flight college of National Aviation University. His awards include Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 1st class, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 3rd class and Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 4th class. His cause of death was diabetes. He was buried at Federal Military Memorial Cemetery.
