Biography
Andrey Zaliznyak (* April 29, 1935 in Moscow; †December 24, 2017 in Moscow) was a russian linguist. He was 82 years old. He was married to Elena Viktorovna Paducheva. His education included University of Paris, Philological Faculty of Moscow State University and Sorbonne. He received 5 awards, including Demidov Prize, Lomonosov Gold Medal. He was buried at Troyekurovskoye cemetery.
