Edith Windsor (* June 20, 1929 in Philadelphia; † September 12, 2017 in Manhattan) was an american LGBT rights activist and a technology manager at IBM. She was 88 years old. She was married to Thea C. Spyer. Her education included New York University, Temple University and Harvard University. She was awarded the VH1 Trailblazer Honors.
