His education included Swarthmore College, Case Western Reserve University, Carnegie Mellon University, Princeton University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Tepper School of Business, Glens Falls High School and Weatherhead School of Management. He received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel.
