Biography
Elmira Minita Gordon (* December 30, 1930 in Belize City; † January 1, 2021 in Inglewood) was a governor-General of Belize from 1981 to 1993. She was 90 years old. Her education included University of Nottingham, University of Birmingham, University of Calgary and University of Toronto. She was awarded the Dame Grand Cross of the Order of St Michael and St George. She was buried at Lord’s Ridge Cemetery.
