Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick (* May 2, 1950 in Dayton; † April 12, 2009 in Manhattan) was an american scholar of queer theory. She was 58 years old. Her education included Yale University and Cornell University. Her faith was Buddhism. Her awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and Brudner Prize. Her cause of death was breast cancer.
