Biography
Gennadiy Aygi (* August 21, 1934; † February 21, 2006 in Moscow) was a chuvash poet, writer, and translator. He was 71 years old. He studied at Maxim Gorky Literature Institute. He received 6 awards, including Commandeur des Arts et des Lettres, Andrei Biely Prize.
