Biography
Gleb Panfilov (* May 21, 1934 in Magnitogorsk; † August 26, 2023 in Moscow) was a soviet and Russian film director and film screenwriter. He was 89 years old. He was married to Inna Churikova. His education included Top Courses for Scriptwriters and Film Directors and Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. He received 6 awards, including Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 4th class, Golden Bear. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
