Biography
Hans-Dietrich Genscher (* March 21, 1927 in Reideburg; † March 31, 2016 in Pech) was a german politician and member of the Free Democratic Party. He was 89 years old. He was married to Barbara Genscher. His education included Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, Leipzig University, University of Hamburg and Hans-Dietrich-Genscher-Gymnasium. His faith was Protestantism. He received 10 awards, including honorary citizen of Berlin, Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia. His cause of death was cardiac arrest.
