Jan A. P. Kaczmarek (* April 29, 1953 in Konin; † May 21, 2024 in Kraków) was a polish composer (1953—2024). He was 71 years old. He studied at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. His awards include Academy Award for Best Original Score, Knight of the Order of Polonia Restituta and Golden Medal for Merit to Culture. His cause of death was multiple system atrophy. He was buried at Rakowicki Cemetery.
