Biography
Yuri Rytkheu (* March 8, 1930 in Uelen; † May 14, 2008 in Saint Petersburg) was a russian Chukchi writer. He was 78 years old. He studied at Faculty of Philology of Saint Petersburg State University. He was awarded the Zasłużony Działacz Kultury. His cause of death was multiple myeloma. He was buried at Cemetery in Komarovo.
