Biography
Käthe Kollwitz (* July 8, 1867 in Königsberg; † April 22, 1945 in Moritzburg) was a german printmaker and sculptor. She was 77 years old. She was married to Karl Kollwitz. Her education included Académie Julian and Art Academy Königsberg. Her faith was Lutheranism. Her awards include Pour le Mérite for Sciences and Arts order and Villa Romana Prize. She was buried at Zentralfriedhof Friedrichsfelde.
