Louis Gossett Jr. (* May 27, 1936 in Brooklyn; † March 29, 2024 in Santa Monica) was an american actor. He was 87 years old. His education included Abraham Lincoln High School and New York University. He received 7 awards, including Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series. His cause of death was chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
