Marielle Franco (* July 27, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro; † March 14, 2018 in Rio de Janeiro) was a brazilian politician and activist. She was 38 years old. Her education included Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and Fluminense Federal University. She was awarded the Medalha Tiradentes. Her cause of death was gunshot wound.
