Mirosław Hermaszewski (* September 15, 1941 in Lipniki, Wołyń Voivodeship; † December 12, 2022 in Warsaw) was a polish cosmonaut. He was 81 years old. His education included General Staff Academy, Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia and Polish Air Force University. His awards include Medal "For Merit in Space Exploration", Commander of the Order of Polonia Restituta and Order of the Smile. His cause of death was surgical complications. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
