Muazzez İlmiye Çığ (* June 20, 1914 in Bursa; † November 17, 2024 in Mersin Province) was a turkish Sumerologist. She was 110 years old. She studied at Ankara University. Her awards include honorary doctor of Istanbul University and Turan Dursun Research and Study Award.
