Mulayam Singh Yadav (* November 21, 1939 in Saifai; † October 10, 2022 in Gurgaon) was a 15th Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and 10th Defence Minister of India. He was 82 years old. His education included Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University and Karm Kshetra Post Graduate College, Etawah. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in Public Affairs.
