Biography
Natalya Gorbanevskaya (* May 26, 1936 in Moscow; † November 29, 2013 in Paris) was a russian poet, translator, and civil rights activist. She was 77 years old. She was married to Pavel Litvinov. She studied at Faculty of Philology of Saint Petersburg State University. She received 8 awards, including Czech Medal of Merit, 1st class, Russia Award. She was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
