Biography
Nelson Pereira dos Santos (* October 22, 1928 in São Paulo; † April 21, 2018 in Rio de Janeiro) was a brazilian film director. He was 89 years old. His education included Institut des hautes études cinématographiques and University of São Paulo. His awards include Order of Cultural Merit (Brazil) and honorary doctorate of Paris Nanterre University. His cause of death was liver cancer.
