Biography
Nguyễn Phú Trọng (* April 14, 1944 in Đông Anh; † July 19, 2024 in Hanoi) was a general Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (top leader) from 2011 to 2024. He was 80 years old. He was married to Ngô Thị Mận. He had 2 children. His education included Vietnam National University and Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. He received 4 awards, including Order of José Martí, honorary doctor of the University of Havana. He was buried at Mai Dịch Cemetery.
