Biography
Osamu Shimomura (* August 27, 1928 in Fukuchiyama; †October 19, 2018 in Nagasaki) was a japanese organic chemist and marine biologist. He was 90 years old. His education included Nagoya University and Nagasaki Medical College. He received 4 awards, including Order of Culture, Nobel Prize in Chemistry. His cause of death was senility.
