Biography
Paul Lauterbur (* May 6, 1929 in Sidney; † March 27, 2007 in Urbana) was an american chemist. He was 77 years old. His education included University of Pittsburgh, Case Western Reserve University and Sidney High School. His faith was atheism. He received 10 awards, including National Medal of Technology and Innovation, Lasker-DeBakey Clinical Medical Research Award. His cause of death was kidney disease. He was buried at Graceland Cemetery.
