Safi Faye (* November 22, 1943 in Dakar; † February 22, 2023 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was a senegalese ethnologist and film director. She was 79 years old. Her education included School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences and École normale de Rufisque.
