Sławomir Skrzypek (* May 10, 1963 in Katowice; † April 10, 2010 in Smolensk) was a polish central banker. He was 46 years old. His education included University of Wisconsin–Madison, Georgetown University, University of Navarre, University of Silesia in Katowice and Krakow University of Economics. His awards include Commander with Star of the Order of Polonia Restituta and Cross of Freedom and Solidarity. His cause of death was Smolensk air disaster. He was buried at Powązki Military Cemetery.
