Biography
Thomas Hylland Eriksen (* February 6, 1962 in Oslo; † November 27, 2024 in Oslo) was a norwegian social anthropologist and professor. He was 62 years old. He was married to Kari J. Spjeldnæs. He studied at University of Oslo. He received 6 awards, including honorary doctor of Stockholm University, The Arthur Holmesland Award for Non-Fiction. His cause of death was pancreatic cancer.
