Biography
Valeri Rozhdestvenski (* February 13, 1939 in Saint Petersburg; † August 31, 2011 in Zvyozdny gorodok) was a soviet cosmonaut. He was 72 years old. He studied at F. E. Dzerzhinsky Naval Engineering Academy. He was awarded the Medal "For Merit in Space Exploration". He was buried at Shchyolkovo Urban District.
