Vasily Alekseyev (* January 7, 1942 in Pokrovo-Shishkino; † November 25, 2011 in Munich) was a soviet weightlifter. He was 69 years old. He studied at Platov South-Russian State Polytechnic University. He was awarded the honorary citizen of Gukovo. He was buried at Central Cemetery.
