Biography
Vasily Smyslov (* March 24, 1921 in Moscow; † March 27, 2010 in Moscow) was a soviet chess grandmaster. He was 89 years old. His awards include world chess champion and Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 4th class. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
