Winnie Madikizela-Mandela (* September 26, 1936 in Bizana; † April 2, 2018 in Johannesburg) was a south African activist and politician. She was 81 years old. She was married to Nelson Mandela. Her education included University of South Africa and University of the Witwatersrand. Her faith was Methodism. She received 4 awards, including United Nations Prize in the Field of Human Rights, Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award. Her cause of death was influenza.
