Vitaly Ginzburg (* September 21, 1916 in Moscow; † November 8, 2009 in Moscow) was a russian physicist. He was 93 years old. He was married to Olga Zamsha Ginzburg and Nina Yermakova Ginzburg. His education included MSU Faculty of Physics and Lomonosov Moscow State University. His faith was atheism. He received 7 awards, including UNESCO Niels Bohr Medal, Nobel Prize in Physics. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
